Fantastic Mr. Fox

Random/interesting news I discovered today: Roald Dahl's Fantastic Mr. Fox will be made into a movie dated for 2006. Wes Anderson, known for Rushmore, The Royal Tenenbaums, The Life Aquatic, etc., will be directing the film, and it will be done in stop-motion photography by Henry Selick, known for his work with The Nightmare Before Christmas and The Life Aquatic.

I suspect it will be rather like the adaptation of James and the Giant Peach done a few years ago. I am rather excited about this, as Fantastic Mr. Fox was probably the first Roald Dahl book I ever read, and continues to be one of my favorites.
