LOL! Fabulous fic. So scary, poor Jason!! And ewwwwww!!!! Rally, really icky with the egg sac inside him. So gross :D Hercules was bloody brilliant! He really kept Pythagoras going and helped him. Yay :D Loved it.

I really did go for the gross-out factor with the eggs, I'm afraid *evil grin*. Poor Jason. I actually found I really enjoyed writing Hercules in this fic. Once he and Pythagoras got talking, Hercules practically wrote himself!

Hee! That last line!

This h/c bingo card is clearly right up your street. I really didn't see that egg twist coming - that'll teach Jason for going off to be heroic on his own!

I like the way we get to see Hercules and Pythagoras's friendship/closeness as much as the friendship with Jason - particularly like Hercules's explanation as to why he's taking first watch. That seems exactly right for the character the mixture of comedy/concern. They really do understand each other. Jason is very lucky in his friends.

Thanks! After all the angst and whumping I felt it really ought to end on a fun note, so I'm glad that worked.

Lol, yes, I have to admit I am enjoying all this hurt/comfort rather a lot. After an initial flail about how to include all four prompts into one fic, I really enjoyed writing this one. I just wish it hadn't turned into such a last minute rush, because if I'd had more time, I suspect it would have been about 2 or 3k longer!

Hercules is lovely to write, in fact, he practically writes himself sometimes! Especially when you put him in a scene with Pythagoras. I adore their friendship, and they are such fun to write together. Even though Jason was the focus of most of the hurt in this fic, it actually far more turned into a two-hander between Hercules and Pythagoras rather than being a Jason story. Oops?
