AN: This was supposed to be about Matt and his attitude to water and waste and extravagance. Then Emily hijacked it completely...
The first time Matt encountered a bath he hated it on sight. He was horrified by the thought of such wasteful extravagance with so much water.
Emily, on the other hand, loved baths. Hot and deep, filled with scented bubble bath, and occasionally strange fizzing things. When she put her mind to it, Emily could retreat to the bath with a good book for hours.
It was probably a girl thing.
There was one advantage, though. Emily was one of the few women Matt knew who would never be disappointed or ungrateful to receive lots of bath smellies for Christmas.
