Hyello.
For those of you who weren't there, prizegiving was great fun. I didn't cry and I'm so glad I didn't. I fared fairly well in terms of prizes; it was far more than I deserved. But I do appreciate the $300 donation to my summer holidays... and of course all the kudos.
Since then I've just been working, watching DVDs and going to a few parties.
The parties have kinda sucked so far. That is no fault of those running them, I just think the mercenary way of life and 8 hours of retail a day has made me a boring person. I've made up a statistic; 30% of customers are really stupid. It's very accurate however.
I could bitch forever about work so I won't. I love the job... I love the people, most of the time... but the day takes a lot out of you, especially at this time of year. It doesn't matter, it's all gonna be over in a few days anyway and I'll probably have to find somewhere else... got nothing else to do.
I love Princess Mononoke! Just most animes in general make me squeal. The protagonist is always such a benevolent twat but it's good for you.
Anyway. done most of my Christmas shopping. Got lots of dole but I'll probably run out of it in a few weeks. Sent in my enrollment to Vic. Really excited about it actually. Fuck you secondary school! So over it all.
