Ok. So. Quick update.
I've been studying most of this week. Poorly. You know like you've been 'studying' for like 5 hours but... really... you've only done one. Yeah, feels shit.
I haven't had the chance to study this weekend much... although I did read some collected history essays on the plane. Yah, I went to Christchurch for my cousin's wedding. It was byuuudifuw. And ve'y swanky. I did an impromptu jam with the jazz band which apparently went excellently... I loved it. It was awesome to see some of my family. Christchurch is beautiful this time of year... Wouldn't want to live there though. It's too flat. No landmarks. Don't know where the fuck I am. The gardens are nice though... my uncle's house is stunning, too. Brought back lots of happy memories of school holidays spent down south.
So I flew down coz I have exams later this week. Classics and English. Possibly my least favourite exams. I'm being a bit dangerous and NOT writing on Alex. The G. ... and instead doing Roman Religion. The reasons are very personal. Anyway... vases and the Aeneid are all good, I think/hope. English terrifies me. But, hey, even though I promised myself it wouldn't happen... I've fully burnt out my enthusiasm for this year. I just want it to finish.
You'd think that I would have been studying frantically tonight, but no. I went to see Borat at Empire with Flo and Hannah. It was shit-your-pants funny. And just a little bit more than absolutely disgusting at times. All must see it. Speaking of movies. I saw the most depressing movie of my life the other night, "Dancer in the Dark". It starred Bjork... enough. I turn into a snivelling, music-loving, jazz-hack when i think about Bjork... and now I can add emotional to that list. I also saw TransAmerica; it was fucking funny/captivating. You missed out, Benji.
