I'm not really ready to go. But my flight is scheduled for this coming Monday. That makes tomorrow (Friday) finals day, Saturday is departure prep day (all day long... dear god so much to do), Sunday is moving out of the dorm day, and Monday will contain my final few hours in Tokyo (for now).

Holy crap, lucky woman!

Let me know how the food is. I know it's weird, but I'm seriously in love with airplane food.

That's funny, because more often than not airplane food makes me want to vomit. And I always manage to pick the less edible option on the menu while my neighbor enjoys a restaurant quality meal. I originally came in on a first class flight, and the food was just decent, but there was a lot of it and a really good variety.

And you get champagne while everyone else is hustling into coach and fighting for bag storage space. XD

Oh man, that's fancy as fuck! It sounds like it was a decent experience, at least! :) Most of my flying experiences are pretty terrible, though whenever I fly by myself things go smoothly. This says a lot about my business/vacation partners. _-_

Holy hell, Kair. The food was actually scrumptious. And pretty much continuous from the time I got on the plane til the somewhat forced night time. We seriously had like a 12 course meal over 12 hours of flight.
Preflight: Champagne/Wine/Liquor/Drinks
Takeoff: Chips/Pretzels/Candy (Snackfoods)
Dinner Course: (2 Choices in each) Salad, Fish appetizer? (choice between broiled salmon or sashimi pieces), All you can eat in various forms of bread, Entree (Beef or... other) with veggies and potatoes, coffee/tea, GINORMOUS sundaes (cornflakes on the bottom, 2 scoops of vanilla, caramel, strawberry puree, chocolate sauce, various nuts, whipped cream and a maraschino cherry; your choice of any combination of the above), "midnight" snacks (same as takeoff), then breakfast was danish, omelet or cereal, a massive bowl of fruit, and a little box of gourmet chocolate truffles. O_o
I was NEVER hungry on that flight.
