Our club runs the Alphabet Bingo Challenge. Every week, a letter is designated and if you play a bingo with that letter as the first or second letter, you score a point. At the end of 26 weeks, whoever got the most points wins thirteen handsome bucks. Second place is snack money ($8) and third is dessert dough ($5). After 21 weeks, I'm leading Mike Thelen by 2 points. Last week's designated letter was the letter V and I played three "V" bingos: OVERMANS, OVERLIT and OVERSEES giving me a nice cushion. Let's see if my lead holds after the "Z" week.
