Geckos....don't you mean geico?simplystrandedMay 29 2003, 16:20:50 UTC
I would be delighted if geckos lived in my domain, although, I believe my dog would be the end to their existence.
On a larger note: even pretending to be positive is a good way to begin looking at life in a different and more easy light.Eventually you will trick yourself into thinking postive.
There are many beautiful reasons to be alive now, and I'm sure I don't have to tell anyone this, but in Taoism, they believe all happens for a reason, good and bad. Bad must occur for something good to come out of it, and at the same time, good and bad coexist as one.
EX:Taoism = time is cyclical. There is no beginning, and there is no end. Therefore right now is tomorrow, and tomorrow is yesterday. It is true with all events in life.
We as westerners think of time as linear. There is a beginning and an end. Therefore things can always be different, separating the two ying and yang (or good and bad) opposing forces gives everything an individualistic quality, limiting our thoughts and dreams. If anything is possible how can anything be possible, if one day it will end.
