+ being able to walk to work
+ good beer
+ enjoying the challenges of my job
+ taking time to knit over the 4.5 day holiday i'm on
+ an awesome cat who turns super snuggly when it's chilly outside
+ homemade chai. oh lord, i can't say enough about homemade chai.
+ organs (the kind in my body, not the kind in a church)
+ vegetables
+ people i'm close with
+ people i'm not close with
+ all the small and large gifts i recieve every day, and those i give, too.
i think that's pretty much the short of it.
i haven't turned into a hippie (maybe), but i'm totally in love with
Free Will Astrology. it's awesome. i love the sacred advertisements at the bottom of all the horoscopes.
and maybe this seems strange, but a conversation i've had with a couple of people recently has me wondering: what would you do with a million dollars? actually, let's say half a million. not enough to buy yourself a remote island somewhere, but enough to make some decisions about being suddenly more wealthy than you used to be.
and of course, happy holidays, loves. some of you i'll be seeing pretty soon. others - well...the east coast is really a lovely place to visit. *coughs*
