The perfect recipe for really good pancakes is complicated. It truly depends on how you like them. If you like them fluffy and light, add more milk. If you like them dense and moist, add a tad bit more of milk and more batter.

I am a huge fan of french toast, especially "Too Jays" style. I love the cinnamon, sliced almonds, and powdered sugar. And you can't substitute true maple syrup!

Breakfast is often overlooked or taken for granted. There are as many combos as a dinner. You can possibly have a 5 course breakfast:

Begin with a really good coffee, #1

Then move on to a protein level: bacon, a good sausage, and some eggs (style depends on preference). #2

Further your experience with a good carb such as pancakes, waffle, or french toast. #3

Then move on to fruit. I prefer a combination of oranges, grapefruit, and grapes. #4

And finally, bread. An english muffin, a grain muffin (such as blueberry) and or a potatoe pancake. Hashbrowns in any style will make a great substitute. I am a huge fan of a potatoe product. #5

MMMMMMMM! Good combo for a 5 course breakfast....usually on Sundays.

;)
