My parents are giving us a very generous gift of travel to, and lodging in, London for two weeks in April. We bought our plane tickets this weekend and are beginning to plan a few things to go see and do.
I've found that traveling works best for me when I choose a relatively small number of specific things to do (usually no more than one per day, if that), and just follow my whims otherwise.
However, I'd like to hear what anyone reading this might themselves be interested to see, do, or learn about while in London. If you have visited London, what did you find especially exciting/intriguing/fascinating? What do you wish you had spent more time on? What did you find to be less worthwhile than other things?
And if you've never visited London, what do you think would be worth seeing, and why?
I'm encouraging Valentine to talk to his classmates too. Perhaps we will take on the rôle of foreign correspondents, and bring back information for folks!
