So why did CTV decide not to air 703 Love is a Battlefield
are they just gonna pretend that the episode never happened?
So then where does that leave Alex and Paige for Canada?
Are they going to remake the whole episode or something? :P
Seems unlikely, but I think they know that people were dissapointed.

I think I asked this question too in another community and no one knew. Canada is way more open about stuff than we are in America so I don't see why they didn't air it. Its kind of bad because Degrassi has gotten in the habit of not explaining things and I guess they expect us to forget about stuff like this.

yea season 6 was horrible
but i'm still buying that, since i already own 1-5
if only JT didn't die..
the way the whole season moved in general was kinda bad
but knowing that it was only a span of one semester
and having season 7 take place as the second semester
makes season 6 seem better

CTV has never said why they didn't air it. Originally in the press release they said they were going to air it after 704 and then never did...

Some people think it's because of the negative fan reaction to those episodes. Maybe CTV decided that Palex fans would be too angry about it??

But I think that it might be because of the subplot. CTV might be thinking that people may misinterpret the whole issue of integrating Degrassi and Lakehurst into being about the Afro-centric schools issue in Toronto right now (just because Manny is white and Damian is black). People might think that CTV is against Afro-centric schools because at the end Manny makes her unity speech. It's such a controversial issue in Toronto right now and people have such strong feelings about it... that's just my theory but hopefully CTV will let us know soon or air it soon.

I kinda agree, but you have to note that the point of Manny's speech was to integrate the schools, not keep them apart

Shouldn't they show 703 anyway so people know what happened between Paige and Alex?

I wonder if it was cut in order to "catch up" with the episodes airing in the US on The N. Since we were behind, after the so-called "Spring Break movie" we are back on track with them.
