a scholarship..
I received a small scholarship this morning. It's not very much monetarily but I'm very honoured to receive it.
It was the Robert Bater Award in Jewish Studies.
This scholarship was given because I have received the highest mark in Jewish Studies in the past year at my University. (I think there are about 15 courses held each year.)
I am especially honoured since I am not Jewish! I wonder if I get an honourary yarmulke?
