It's MAY already?!?!?!
Hooooooooooooooly crap! It's been a MILLION YEARS since the last time I updated my journal, eh? Well... I kinda decided to ditch livejournal (for now) and stick with phone conversations and hanging outs. I do realise that I have friends who are kinda far away so I also decided to use Facebook as my mode of "communication". I will still check in to LJ once in a while but it's not gonna be too often. So here's the short re-cap
Adam & I got married on March 4th, it was a lovely lovely day and if you wanna see pictures, go to facebook and search for me... if you're not already in there :) Workwise... I got a permanent job at the Vancouver International Film Centre. It is THE perfect job for me. I am currently the Assistant Business Manager but in 4 years or so, I'll eventually become the Assistant Director of the whole darn thing. I get paid to watch and review movies and I'm one of the 5 people that chooses which movies are going to be screened at the Vancouver International Film Festival each year... AND I will (eventually) get to travel to places for their International Film Festivals!!! I just can't believe how much I'm loving my job. This is something that is definately can become my career. I fell so lucky and just darn happy about this job.
So basically I'm spending my days working and hanging out with friends. I don't do a lot of going out anymore cause I don't have the time. It's unfortunate but that's how the cookie crumbles, my friend :) I'm still in GLASS Youth Choir.. I LOVE it there and that's probably the extend of my social life. I invite people to come over to review the movies together... so I'm working AND socializing... aren't I smart? :p
My passion to travel is probably not going to happen anytime soon. I mean, I'll still travel each year, that's not a question, but I might not be able to go for 3 or 4 months and just travel anymore... I got a job and a husband to take care hahaha. We're going to NY & Toronto in mid-June for 2,5 weeks and that's probably it for me. Then our choir might travel to Miami next year and I'm sorta hoping that I could go to Rotterdam next year too. I don't know how realistic would that be.
My parents are coming for my graduation in June. They're staying for 3,5 weeks and they're going to stay at our house. That's gonna be iiiiiiiiinteresting :) I'm excited and also super duper nervous about it. I can't believe it's May already. Summer's right outside the window! I'm stoked!
