Guilty Please-Yours
This will be my first semi-introspective LJ post in a LONG while...what can I say. I'm a Facebook whore now. Like the rest of the world.
I was listening to a bit of a guilty pleasure today. I can't really call them a guilty pleasure because I don't feel guilty about liking them, but I feel guilty about not feeling guilty, because I SHOULD feel guilty for liking them...I think.
Type O Negative- yes, I have a thing for their over the top, melodramatic, melodic mood metal.
30 Seconds To Mars- I'm aware that Jared Leto is a self-important douche nugget and that their music is somewhat cheesy, but the production is excellent and the songs just always 'hook' me (with the exception of 'Buddha for Mary' from the first album...that song is just shit).
Thoughts? Feel free to mock or discuss your guilty (or guilty for not feeling guilty) pleasures.
