Finally saw the first Transformers...
Well I have netflix why not use it. I decided to rent the Blu-Ray version of the first Transformers movie since I had not seen it and have not been interested, so I figured now was as good a time as any.
The movie is 2.5 hours long, I had no idea, though I came the conclusion that not only did they have to give back story they had to introduce both Autobots and Discepticons. Dispite the length it was very well paced. I'll come clean; for those 2.5 hours I was 6 again. Waking up saturday morning to cartoons like G.I Joe TMNT smurfs, and Transformers.
I really enjoyed it...all of it. However, I did have my gripes about the movie.
1. What the hell was that garbage during the end credits. The one between Linkin Park and Disturbed. That was probably the worse part of the film.
2. StarScream only had 2 lines....WTF. However, he did show up, he did kick alot of ass and he, single handedly, forshadowed the sequal. StarScream FTW.
Anyway the movie was great, and I really enjoyed it, almost watched it again so I may pick this up on Blu-Ray to own.
