It realy irks me that people take LJ drama into RL. They actually get mad about things that are meant to be fun. Seriously. People do this. Like for example. In an RP, people get pissed at other people for not reacting the way they want them to IN THE RP.

I get really sick of people who become overdramatic at things that aren't real. If that makes any sense to any of you.

In other news, school starts in a week. I can't wait to start classes actually. I'm getting down to the wire and I'm about done with my M.A./Ed.S program. It's crazy. I'll be applying to PhD programs this fall so we'll see how that goes. I think I already have the ones I'm looking at picked out. I'm not sure that the list is all inclusive yet though. We'll see.

The trip to Vegas is coming up but unfortunately, we're going to end up staying somewhere crappy. I've found some awesome prices but the issue is that the flights don't leave at the right time and we'd end up being gone from Thursday to Tuesday. My best friend can't miss that much class. I understand but ugh. It really sucks. I'm not sure what to do now since the options are pretty pathetic.

I see dates in people's profiles about the deaths of their loved ones and all I can think is that when I die, I'd rather not have that about me in someone's AIM profile. It seems so... tacky. I guess it has something to do with the idea that it's an AIM profile. *shrug* So in case of death, part of my living will should note that I do not wish to be in AIM profiles.

Today, when I was walking into work, I saw a whole bunch of female soccer players walking out of the gym with ice on their legs. It reminded me of softball and it made me miss playing for my college. There is something about representing an organization that appeals to me on many levels.

Big plans for this weekend since it's my first weekend where I won't be going home for softball stuff. Me and some of my friends are going to head over to the one girls condo and she's going to cook Korean food for us. After she cooks, we're going to head to a movie or something and the come back and hang out the rest of the day. I'm going over early to work on my tan (not that I need it!) and go to the korean grocery store with her since everyone else will be working. On Saturday, I'm going to go watch one of my little sisters play some softball (no, I don't really have sisters, it's just what I call these girls) and then get dinner with her, her family and my dad. Cross your fingers that she makes the college showcase team she's trying out for. She's the best 16U pitcher in Maryland so she shouldn't struggle too much, but any extra luck she can get is good.

That's really it that is planned for this weekend, but it'll be nice to hang out with my college friends. I've kinda slacked on being around for them since everything with my mom happened and then softball started.

Anyway, I'm at work for a bit longer and then I'm off to get postcards for my LJ friends (see two posts below if you would like to join in on the snail mail fun!). Mail will go out tomorrow!

softball, angry, school
