COLD STONE CON ARTIST
So the other day I got completely screwed over by this woman at ColdStone. It's a very sad story so read it...
So this lady walks in...Spanish, nice...speaks fine English when she orders her ice cream, saids it perfectly even asks for a waffle bowl. Then we proceed to the cash register. I typed it in and her ice cream was like 5.23 or something and she gives me a 100. No big deal, people do it all the time. So i type in 100 push cash and register pops open, then all of a sudden this woman can't speak English and she responds "Oh no wait I have smaller bills." So then I am thinking you have got to be kidding me that means now I have to do a shit load of math in my head to get this right. She then she tells me to give her the 100 back and then starts talking to me about the damn ice cream and what time we close and her pregnant sister. She tells me to give her 95 dollars and to not worry about the 77 cents. This all happens while she is talking to me and she continues to talk while i count. So i hand her her 95 dollars and she bolts out the door. As i walk back to the ghea i think to myself that wasn't right. Then finally i realize "Oh Fuck she didn't give me the 100 bill." I bolt out slip on water and slam into the swinging door fall flat on my face in front of everyone and run outside to try to find her. It had to be maybe 10 seconds afterwards and she was long gone. So now I have to pay coldstone 95 dollars and the woman walks out 95 dollars richer. Sucks right.
I know it was a con for three reason, one where did her English go all of a sudden, second of all 77 cents is a lot of change we Americans are stingy we want that 77 cents thats freakin to quaters, and thirdly any decent American would have gone home realized they had a 100 as well as a extra 95 dollars and would have come back. For god sakes i had a woman once who realized she forgot to pay for her sisters like it ice cream and came back.
