Oh, I love that Rusty inadvertently forces them together.

*hugs them*

I hope Sharon fixes things soon. Glad to see them talking at least.

So glad that you're enjoying this! Thanks for letting us know!

I think these two need some sort of outside catalyst to figure things out, since they seem to be hopeless when left to their own devices!

Yes, they definitely need to get outside of their heads and realize the obvious truth. 9 more chapters to go! :P

That last line and revelation from Sharon just broke my heart... ;_; It seems that she lost a lot of things with Jackson, but most of all, it seems that she lost the ability to trust herself. It didn't escape me that a lot of the last few things she listed were probably things she blamed herself for.

Anyway, I do hope that it can only go up from here, because my heart is steadily shattering, and I don't think I can do this anymore. It hurts... Stupid fictional characters who make me cry not-so-fictional tears. I am literally shaking while reading through the conflict-chapters. ;___;

Thank you for your comment. Things definitely do get better, but they get worse first. We really wanted to challenge ourselves by trying to sort out an emotionally complicated situation between these characters and we wanted to give the resolution the proper amount of time and respect to make it believable; we didn't want to make readers feel cheated with a quickie-happy ending that seemingly came out of nowhere.

Thanks for reading. :)
