I loved that there was a very personal connection to the artwork for Sharon and that the shared that with Andrea. The meal was awkward, hot and hilarious at the same time ... until it wasn't. It adds a whole other dimension to wonder about sexual orientation and interpretation, and I really felt for Andrea, that there's a possibility it's just something she'll never be able to have with Sharon ... or maybe it's not ;)

Awesome stuff!

We still don't know a whole lot about her family which actually gives us a lot of freedom to come up with careers for her kids, etc. I'm glad that you felt the art connection worked.

and I really felt for Andrea,

sharon_ray and I are both huge Hobbs fans....and yet we tend to torture her a bit in this fic, and the next one we're going to post after this one. But we always give her a happy ending...I think it's more that we are so fascinated with the character that we enjoy seeing her navigate through emotionally complicated scenarios and imagining how she'd do it?

that there's a possibility it's just something she'll never be able to have with Sharon ... or maybe it's not ;)

Well....the rating gets cranked up in the next chapter.....but that isn't always a good thing. Sex complicates everything after all.

Thanks so much for reading! :D

And before I knew it I saw this one popping up on my flist and thought, yes it is Tuesday.

I liked Sharon sharing the story about Richard with Andrea. It's something personal to her and she feels alright to share it with her friend Andrea.

Now the dinner was a bit awkward for them, but I believe that would be the case if you're unsure about your feelings for one another. Both of them are walking a bit on eggshells around each other.
Sharon's reactions were very in character, I liked the way she responded to what happened.
I also like that they're a bit torn between their feelings, but also them not being sure of what to think of those feelings and whether they like having those feelings or not.

My journey of curiosity for this, for me, new ship, will continue next week.:)

Sharon is very much a dedicated mother and we really wanted to pay respect to that. I think that she'd open up about her kids, but only to people that she really trusted.

I'm glad you felt she was written in character. We always try to keep her true to the Sharon Raydor we all know and love as much as possible.

I hope you enjoy next week's chapter! Thanks for reading. :)

So much to love about this. Sharon's story about Ricky was great: I love that she figured out the best way to help him study, which ultimately led to his career path. Sharon=Mother of the Universe. ♥

Then the dinner. Poor, Andrea and Sharon feeling feelings and not knowing what to do with them. The argument hurt, but maybe it needed to happen...

Can't wait for more.

♥ ♥ ♥

I'm glad you enjoyed the backstory with Ricky. I can totally see Sharon being a super dedicated hands-on sort of mother like that.

I know, the dinner of awkwardness! But sadly, we're dealing with a pair of very stubborn women here!

Thanks for reading, next chapter will be posted again on Tuesday. I hope you enjoy it too! :D

I'm enjoying this immensely! - And if my boss thinks I'm not going to finish getting caught up on this while I'm at work then he clearly doesn't know me very well ;)

sharon_ray and I are both huge Hobbs fans....and yet we tend to torture her a bit in this fic

Sharon is my favorite character and I've shot her twice, got her into a couple of fist fights, had her jump from a moving car to attempt escape through the woods and thrown her into prison for murder... (granted the last three things were all in the same fic)

Thanks so much for letting us know that you're enjoying the fic! That's really lovely to read! As writers, we have a blast writing even if people don't read, but it's that much better when we can share the excitement with everyone. :)

Chapter 6 will be posted tomorrow. I hope that you continue to enjoy it.

Thanks for reading! :)

I love that Sharon was a good "ADD" mom :-) The heat builds so nicely here, and Andrea's tension was palpable--good to see Sharon was feeling some of that, too. Feeding each other is uber-sexy. I bet they were the envy of that restaurant!

She's so patient and understanding with Rusty and his issues; sharon_ray and I wondered if perhaps she had encountered certain challenges when raising her kids which served as preparation by the time that Rusty came along.

Damn right it's sexy, I definitely think that a few patrons were eyeing them. They're a hot pair, even without the sexiness of feeding one another. ;)

Thank you for reading!
