What I think you have captured well here is that even now, so close to the end in so many ways, they show no resentment that duty must come before the personal. This is how it must be, how it has always been.

He must lead the fight, she must contribute to the mission; it is who they are, who they have chosen to be, and each knows that about themselves and, with strength, understanding and love, accepts it entirely about the other.

One thing I've always loved about them is their sense of duty and their selfless natures. They seldom put themselves first, even when they are tempted, they always choose the well being of their people over their own well being. I am glad that this came across.

I saw that dress and totally could see Laura wearing it to some fancy gala back on Caprica. It's gorgeous, but also timeless, just like her. :)
