Though truly, I wish there was SOME way to get him for child abuse - if only because it's not a good sign for a future family with step-daughters, no matter the circumstance. >>" Maybe the fiancee wises up and dumps him after the finale? Don't know...

I had similar thoughts after the finale, his step daughters! :(
But I'm a bit worried that he might retaliate if his fiancé was debriefed!
I like hearing this version of why they didn't pursue Daniel for abuse...
Sharon protecting Rusty!!

I cringed for his future step-daughters too. But their mother should be the one looking out for their best interests, not Sharon or anyone else.

Yay! So glad that you're excited for this, that totally made me smile. :D I do wish that Daniel's future wife would dump his sorry ass too, but you can't have it all. :(

My heart hurts for rusty! And I can imagine how hard it is for him to
Realize that he is cared for! I see glimpses of that realization, but can't wait to
see him feel the same for Sharon!

Love this!! What a great scene to write!! Andrea is perfect to help with the legal issues regarding Rusty and of course to support and comfort Sharon. :) Excellent work!!

I can see Andrea coming around more in season two for all the legal technicalities regarding Rusty. It was fun to write her in action, but also wanting to get involved with this case because she cares so deeply about these two people.

It was a joy to write that support system, I feel like Sharon truly has Rusty's back, as do the rest of the MC team and that would include Hobbs too.

So I just read this, because I somehow missed it....always late to the party.

I love how Sharon leans on her, because we don't really get to see that aspect on the show. I like that you've given her this support system through Hobbs :)

I'm glad that you enjoyed this. I wanted to give Sharon a moment to grieve, but also I didn't want to infantilize her because she is such a strong woman and I love that about her. Hobbs would understand her, professionally and personally, and I can see her being very supportive. She's very supportive of her decisions on the show. :)
