LOVE THIS!! It's really a lovely and emotional piece of writing. Sniff!! It was making me all misty.:*) Laura really came to life and felt truly loved by how dedicated and loving Bill. I think you really captured that feeling in this drabble.

I love too how you echo the "live a little" canon line at the beginning of the drabble and then echo the "free of him" canon line at the end only from Laura's POV.

Great work and I know sln1 will love it for her birthday!!

This is all lovely, of course, but I think my favourite part is turning the 'never be free of her' line around for its ending.
