Is It Saturday Yet?
I'm sick again. Nothing big, not like last time, but certainly enough to be annoying. I had plans this morning, dammit! I was going to get up early and finish taking notes on the New Guardians series for the paper, but then I slept till 10:30 and was late meeting my study-buddy for Arabic class. Stupid cold.
I just had a pretty intensive study session with Gamilla (we've been given Arabic names for the class and I don't actually know her real name even though we're friends. I'm Zahorra). It went well. I think we'll do a good job reading our dialogue tomorrow.
Tonight I need to do two of the following three things to stay on track: read the chapter I'm getting tested on in my computers book, finish the note-taking on the New Guardians series, and/or take notes on the Batman and Robin section in Seduction of the Innocent. I think I'll probably crank out the research paper stuff tonight. Tomorrow's a library-day, since I'm caught up with laundry. It'd be nice to only be touching up the paper the night before it's due.
I've got two mediocre submissions ready for the Christmas Countdown on the Snark & Handcuffs comm, but I'm pretty sure I've got some gooey holiday stuffs ready to come out, so I hope I don't actually have to use these ones. On the plus side my Christmas shopping is done, the apartment's relatively clean, and I have enough laundry to function. Oh, and I actually managed to food shop this week.
Okay...things are not as hectic as I'd thought. I can do this.
