At one point, Ted (I think it was him ) looks like he is getting something off the ship and my first
thought was it's a bomb. So here's my discussion question: Given how it is human nature
to try and destroy what you fear and don't understand, could Goss and that room of
people be secretly planning to fly Beta far out into space and destroy it taking the crew
with it?
The crew and the mission are just to fool Beta. Eve would not know Goss' intention obviously.
However, Beta would and at some point will respond. Remember, Goss was very quick to leave people
behind on Mars, he wouldn't have any problem sacrificing people for what he would see as the greater
good. So, rather than Beta being the 'bad ' guy, Goss and the very official looking people would be and
they will continue to try to destroy the Antares while Eve, Claire, Rollie and AJ try to prevent it here on Earth
and the crew tries to survive on the Antares with a very angry Beta and their own people trying to kill
them.
Anyone agree or no ?
