Ten things I wish I could say to ten different people right now.
1. To my Mother- I don't have just one thing to put here. How do I go from talking to you everyday to MAYBE talking to you once a week with the occasional e-mail? You are the most supportive mother a girl could have at this junction in my life and I am amazed how immensely our relationship has changed for the better!
2. To Mike- I can think of no one I would rather be here with then you. believe how lucky I am to have you in my life. You are my best friend. Thankyou for everything you do for me and for making me the happiest girl in the world.
3. To my brother Ned- I hope you find your heart soon...find someone to love and finally be happy. You deserve so much and I am so proud that you are not hiding from the world because things aren't turning out the way you thought they would. Please please please keep making movies...they are beautiful pieces of art, and I am not just saying that as your sister.
4.
To my Dad- It's amazing that it after four years of living 20 minutes away from you it took me moving across the world to finally have a real adult relationship with you. I love the things we share now (youtube videos and pictures!). I am sorry that I didn't get to have you as the "dad" that Zoe and Ali have but I also think they are kind of missing out on the dad that I got too. You are AMAZING!
5. To my Sister Zoe- Try to enjoy being 9! It's you last year EVER as a single digit. You don't have to make a million friends to have a good time at school and it's ok to be a lover of books when everyone else your age can't keep their hands of their ipods. I can't wait to see you grow, I think you and I are going to have more in common then you think!
6. To my Sister Ali- Being 7 is only holding you back! You are a firecracker in the best kind of way. I also know how frustrating it is to be the youngest (that was my spot for 13 years!). Your ability to draw people to you is going to serve you greatly in your life! Please be nice to the boys when you get to high school and don't break too many hearts...they are only boys after all they can't help being stupid.
7. Nina- You are alive and happy somewhere in Greensboro and yet I mourn you. We had a friendship like no other and I hope...someday we can be friends again in a healthy non co-dependent way.
8. Kathryn- I miss you. I can't wait to wear my hot pink harness leash when I get back so we can have some good quality time together :).
9. Brand 9- Please please please can we hang out when I get back? Nothing makes me miss you more then NOT having the choice to hang out with you...and being here in NZ can only be a constant reminder. I feel that I have come full circle...have not been good at keeping in touch...but I am finally coming to realize how important that group of friendships was to me.
10. Cori (last but SO NOT least)- I love you. Massive X's and O's. I need some quality time with my bestie hopefully in Natchitoches or maybe in a random trip to N.O. (start planning now)? You are a constant and a warm fuzzy spot on my heart! LOOOOOOOOOVE YOOOOOOOOOOU!
