A few hours before they're due to check out of their hotel, Gaeta wakes up, as abruptly and fully as if someone had called his name. He blinks, looking Andrew's way; the other man's still fast asleep.
He lies awake for a few more minutes, then, with a stifled yawn, reaches for his crutches by the bedside.
"Andrew," he says thirty seconds later, a tight and urgent demand. "Andrew. Wake up."
