hmmm... well working in retail will get you the experience points for any job bc you work directly with customers. when you do your resume (and you should turn in a resume with an application even if its just mcdonalds[i can help you with a resume when i get home]) make sure you put in the work at FFL they want to make sure no matter what job it is you can work with people without losing your head. as for references, make sure you call the people and ask, make sure these people like you and are people that you have worked with. when you go to turn the application in dress nicely but not too nice bc you wanna look your best for the interview. also when chosing a place to apply to remember that you have a car so you can work outside of fremont (i.e. hayward, union city, newark, hell even oakland)
as for places to apply... mervyns has a whole bunch of people that i know working there so give it a shot... whats the worst that could happen? they dont call you big whoop. um i know that homedepot in hayward is hiring and alos chuck e cheese. go on craislist and look up jobs in the east bay. its all good. just email them your resume and they may call. make a note to make sure you remember that you already emailed them so you dont end up sending in your resume 10 times. anyway bro i can help you out more when i come home. see ya later!
