As some of you are aware, I'm part of ICAHD - The Israeli Committee against House Demolitions.
I'm helping to organize and run a week long tour in July of this year to Palestine and Israel, called the 'Get off the bus' Tour.
2008 is a crucial year for the region. As Israel celebrates 60 years of statehood, Palestinians remember 60 years of 'Nakba' (catastrophe;) the time when their land was taken and three quarters of their population became refugees.
Coming out to Palestine with us will give you the chance to see the situation on the ground finding out what life is like for both Palestinians and Israelis living in close proximity to each other and allow you access to areas, organizations and individuals you simply wouldn't get if you went alone or with a traditional tour of Palestine/Israel.

If more practical, hands-on stuff is your thing, this year, ICAHD are running their 6th annual house rebuilding camp directly after 'Get off the bus' which will last for two weeks.
