Off to the side of the stage sits Menolly, legs dangling over the edge as she peers down at the papers in her hands. A golden dragonette is perched on her shoulder, intently looking down at the papers as if she were actively reading them too. The little dragon cocks her head as Menolly hums, then sings a few bars of a song.

Myrnin steps up quietly behind her then sits on the stage next to her and hums a bit with her.

"Pity we're on the outs in the production."

Menolly lets her voice die off as she smiles a little over at Myrnin. Beauty chirps a hello and flicks her wings at him in greeting.

"That doesn't mean the production itself isn't something we can't enjoy."

Myrnin chuckles and smiles a hello to Beauty then turns his attention back to Menolly.

"Well I certainly intend to try. Are you enjoying the rehearsals thus far?"

"Mmm, yes. So far, anyway. There's been a few issues I've been working out but other than that, it's all been... nice. You?"

Beauty scrambled down Menolly's arm and took off, disappearing from sight after a moment.

"So far, I've enjoyed it far more than I thought I would. I'm still attempting to convince Lorne that Amos needs ruffles. Maybe some velvet."

Myrnin watched Beauty go with an amused smirk. "She left quickly."

Inara is working on her lines when she catches sight of Menolly out of the corner of her eye. She smiles and moves over to sit next to her.

"I think rehearsal is going very well. This is going to be so much fun."

Hearing Inara's voice brings a smile to the younger woman's face as well as pleased trill from the little dragon. She scribbles something on the paper before she glances over at her, nodding.

"I've never worked with a group like this. It's a lot more work than I expected, but it's a lot more fun, too."

Inara smiles and reaches out to run a finger over the small golden dragon's back. "Hello to you as well, Beauty."

"Sounding fabulous, little moon! If my ears could smile they'd be blinding!" Lorne had been just passing by, but he can't resist complimenting his cast. "I was thinking of having a few one on ones with everyone, just to make sure you're not all feeling lost in the woods. If you'd like, I can put you in sometime during the last week, probably just at the start of March. Unless you're feeling good, dumpling. You sound like you have it all down, at least."
