Any of you brilliant and varied folk out there know how to cure sudden blindness? I'm not picky, I'll take magical or medical or...whatever else is beyond that. It's for a friend of mine.

Sudden? Nothing just happens for no reason. Head injury?

I'm going to take a guess at Badtouched by an Angel.

There's a Skinemax curse and I'm missing it?

What a way to divert from the plot too. Moving on, you and the Green M&M are on speaking terms? There's not enough for a differential.

I've spoken to him before. We didn't draw up a contract. And I'm not talking porn, I'm talking divine light. The sacred flame.

There is if there's more than one case.

Hey there Dr. McCutie. Who's your grumpy friend and can he actually help?

That's Doctor House, and if you're in the same situation as my other patient then... I don't know. But two patients are better than one, we could bring you in for some scans, see if anything matches up.

Well, in this case when I say it's for a friend I'm not being coy. The girl's...she's pretty set on staying in her apartment, poor thing.

Not a lot of people would admit to being more vulnerable than usual.

Unless she'd like me to stop by with a pen torch, the kind of machines that let us get a decent look at the optical pathways aren't portable. This isn't something I've seen before.

I understand. I'll have a chat with her, then. She's-- I'll bring her to the hospital if I can.

I don't mind stopping by to talk to her, if it's a problem with the white coat.

I'll see if she'd consider it. Thanks, I think she'd be much more comfortable that way; maybe she'd be more receptive to a cute accent?

I'm running through the hospital's database of less standard practitioners, with regard to my other patient. Not planning on his needing a guide dog for christmas.

Thanks so much, Doc. If you ever need anything, a reading, a massage -- maybe a trip to the dayspa, you let old Lorne know!

I apologize, I didn't catch your real name in the previous conversation. However, I'm Inara Serra and I'm the patient in question. I would be happy to come to the hospital if you think there's a cure. However, I don't want any tests done that aren't related to the blindness and you will address only the blindness no matter how intriguing anything else you find is.

I'll have Lorne or Priestly bring me up there. Who shall I ask for?
