So, for those of you that are still on here, thanks for coming to Connor's birthday. We had a blast, even though he was a sickie.

In other news, we took him to the pediatrician for his 3 year old checkup and the Dr. was concerned that he has a small speech delay. ::STRESS:: So right afterward I called the preschool where he is going to go starting in July for 3 days a week from 8-11:30. I changed it so he will be starting this Thursday, going 2 days a week for the same hours. I think once he is around children his age more and can talk and interact this will clear up. I also though the Dr. had a more negative impression of it that there actually is. 1)He has a cold. His voice is going to be different. 2) He is shy around new people, but once he knows you, he is a chatterbox.

Granted, sometimes I can't understand what he is saying, but like I said, I think that once he is in preschool this will be resolved. It's stressful thinking something is "wrong" with your child.
And I had this realization on Monday that I will do anything for him. It's a common theme among parents, but the knowledge that I will go to the ends of the Earth and do what's best for him, is a good realization to have made, 3 years from his birth. :)

I'm excited to go to the Melting Pot with Ben for our anniversary/Valentine's Day. This Feb 7th, we will have been dating 5 years. Crazy! It doesn't seem like long enough, at all. I ordered a necklace from etsy.com that is gorgeous-its an anatomical heart necklace. LOVE! It was 60, down from 345 like I thought it was, so that's my anniversary/Valentine's Day present. I'm thinking about getting Ben a kaossilator, but that will have to wait due to things like bills/mortgages and paychecks and such.

Work is going well. I can't wait for the day that I feel confident in my abilities to nurse.

And that's about it.
