yeah, i know where that is. Sounds nice! I lived in a nice town too. I was on all the sports teams. Varsity Hockey,baseball,and Football..I left after Freshman year. You only see about 2/3 of the front of the shcool in these pics, the back is huge..
Anyway, I moved to Indianapolis sophmore year..Mom got married, i was almost 17 and didnt have much of a choice. I was in all these sports and damn good i must say, and my metal band was getting big too. Actually, almost got signed to Flip/interscope. You know all the bands that are popular today? thats the sound we had in 98 before it got huge..
since then, ive lived in indy-finished highschool, got accepted to Illinois Institute of Art, Chicago. which is not easy...Didnt like chitown too much in winter, left for La last march , went to Audio Engineering College at the Los Angeles Recording Workshop in North Hollywood. Got certified...interned for roadrunner records, 311 at their studio the HIVE, did live sound on the sunset strip many times, teched for bands, live sound at Michael Jackos house...etc etc didnt have a car, and i was getting GOOD job offers, but i couldnt get to them...I tried every bus/train connections, and nothing matched up..then, when i tried to get just a reg. job to get by until i got a car, the transit ALL went on strike..well it happened RIGHT when i needed them the most... i was fucked. had to move back to indy...
