Because I Can

From Choriamb (http://choriamb.livejournal.com/1118833.html):

Elegy
He Xiaozhu

The thousands and thousands
of heart-wrenching cries
have returned to
solitary silence.

We cannot predict the tempers of heaven:
The moon perched above Wenchuan
remains poised, a stoic question mark.

Aftershocks are threading towards Chengdu
while sorrow surges around half the globe.
The tears, the frozen tears, let them
be melted gently by candlelight.

And my dear children,
climb onto the dandelions
and queue up for heaven.
