Special Sunday
Today is special cos I spent the entire day with boss. He finally got to meet my mom. Starting the day so early in the morning seemed not so exciting at all but as I was getting ready to leave and as I saw my boy coming into the house, I was pretty sure it's going to be a special Sunday.
So we were off to our destination via public transportation. Even though it might be a hassle, commuting still makes me excited especially for long travels. And much more when my boss is around. We bought bread (oh the eternal pandesal) along the way and hello breakfast on the go! Likewise, we dropped by McDonalds to get my favorite brother Vin, his favorite meal, 1 pc. chicken with rice to go please! We did a lot of walking and talking. And we always made sure we look alright, taking note of our clothes and all, cos we didn't want to look like we were on a "day-off". HAHAHA! No offense but we were really joking around every now and then to pull off a stint like we really were on a "day-off." Heehee ^u^ Mom was cool about him and even added "Parang nakikita ko na siya.. May kamukha siya eh.." (He looks familiar..)
While I talked with my mom, boss played with Vin for a while (higher-lower card?) and even stashed out a few coins. I know he hates those gambling games! But yeah, he can't do anything about it during that time haha cos Vin was so persistent that they play! He was winning but in the end, he turned over all his share to Vin. He might have figured out that as a kid, my brother would feel terrible if he lost. So yay!
After having lunch, we decided to bounce. But ukay-ukay got hold of us. I've always liked this thrift shop at Anonas, at the same building as with Freedom Bar. I was just pointing out that I like that shop and he said "Tara! Tingin tayo.." (Let's check it out!) I DIDN'T KNOW HE WAS GAME FOR THOSE STUFFS! Cos he is pretty fussy with clothes! So we checked out the stores. We both got bags ~for him, a small leather messenger bag, for me, a pink body bag; both bags for P175 each (originally P350 but 50% discount blah). I wanted to buy a shirt, he did too but we were so poor haha and the other store is pricey compared to the other! But yeah, we were happy souls, getting ourselves a little treat. You know how nice the feeling is when you've found something you like at a thrift shop, it's like finding a hidden treasure on a property except that you won't have to share the half of it with a stranger (courtesy of Property, Civil Code of the Philippines)!
I had to pay off my bills so we went to the mall. Signs of a couple on a "day-off," isn't it? Hahaha! Figure out what mall we went to to further incriminate ourselves. LOLOLOL! After paying, we ate (again?!) at Kenny Roger's and I had nasty fun, laughing at the people who got all wet cos heavy rain suddenly poured without warning! I was like "Haha sayang naman porma niyo!" (Too bad for you and your getup!) I know, I know, it was mean but hey, if you were there, you would laugh too! Cos everyone entering the mall was wet and they themselves were laughing too.
While waiting for the rain to stop, we decided to walk around and burn the calories we just took in. God, it has been years since I've been to the mall! And man, the people, they're everywhere! We went to the tiangge and we even saw a showcase of home entertainment and other gadget stuffs. I love the part when he mentioned something about when the time comes that we got ourselves our own house, it should have a home entertainment room, complete with everything! I reminded him to get a house first before anything else. ;)
Finally, we went home at around 3-4pm, I think? Spent time hitting each other. HAHA, kidn. ;D He was tired and sleepy (he had a hangover early that morning tssss!) so I told him to sleep and rest in my room than sleep on the chair outside. So he did and within seconds (I swear), he was already sleeping like a log! I had to stay downstairs of course but I kept checking on him like a hundred times and he didn't move a bit!
This part I really loved: coming up to my room, seeing the person I love most sleeping on my bed, so peacefully like a child, smelling his scent as soon as I open the door... I just realized I can't wait to spend my life with him in the same house and sleep with him on the same bed. Wouldn't it be nice to come home everyday and see such a beautiful person, inside and out?
