WE GOT OUR APARTMENT!!!
omg omg omg. It's at Seacrest Apartments in San Clemente, right past the high school.
We went in today to put our applications through, and found out that there was only 1 one bedroom available that was in our price range, so it was our only choice. I was kinda worried that because we didn't get to choose, it would end up being in a crappy spot with an ugly view of the parking lot, but it's not! It's perfect.
It's around the corner so it's kind of hidden, which is nice. It's upstairs which is the only downfall because moving furniture is gonna suck. but the good part about the upstairs is that our bedroom window is on the other side, where no one can see it and someone would have to have a ladder in order to get through it. So during the day when we leave, we can leave the window open to get a breeze, and we don't have to worry about someone sneaking into our apartment.
Instead of facing the parking lot, it's facing a big hill covered in bushes. which is nice, cuz it'll feel like we're in a more secluded area.
And it is facing the east, so the only time we'll get sunshine is in the morning, but most of it will be blocked by the big hill.
There is a really nice little covered balcony that is bigger than we thought it was gonna be.
Unfortunately, the people are still living there, so we don't get to see the inside until we move in, but we already saw the model apartment with the same floorplan, so we basically know what it's gonna look like.
Our move in date is August 7th.
4 days before my birthday. It's like a birthday present.
And therefore, we are going to have a little birthday/house-warming party. It will be SUPER.
Though I wish Briana was still here so she could come. *cries* waaaaaaaa!
Oh my god. we're gonna have neighbors, and everything. I hope they're cool. We'll have 3 immediate neighbors. the one upstairs next to us, and the two downstairs.
I really hope they don't end up being loud jerks or something. I will have to kill them if they are. I will kill them, and then we will take their apartment if it's bigger. And we'll pretend we lived there all along and they lived in ours. It would be genius...
yes well, this entry has been long and obnoxious. lol.
Too damn excited about moving out.
I should go to bed because I have to work tomorrow at 10am.
p.s. THANK YOU FOR VISITING ME HEATHER!!!!!! it was friggin awesome. I like our little midnight rendevous...what's the plural of rendevous? rendevouses? rendevous'?
