Hong Kong
We've been in Hong Kong a full 24 hrs. now. The hostel where we're staying is in Kowloon which is mostly crammed with lots of shopping and restaurant choices. Our room is more like a closet - 6'X 7' but clean and has an a/c. No huge adventures so far other than our little run-in at what we thought was an innocent karaoke night club, as the sign said. Um yeah. Guess that means something different here. Say, "prostitution front"? We walked right in and there was this weird moment of awkward confusion as a woman working the door was trying to tell me I had to leave and three lovely ladies seemed prepared to love Gannon long time. K, karaoke off the list here. We're about to head to Hong Kong island and check some things out.....I think we've decided only to stay here another 2 nights and then head to Thailand....We are both in dire need of R&R on Koh Phangan. Oh, btw, as the guidebook put perfectly, "Hong Kong does not have some of the best Chinese food in the world. It has THE best!".....Awesome food.
