Thanks to ravenspear , I have rediscovered an epic love for a generally under-appreciated SPN pairing.

Jesus H. Christ, Meg and Cas had more epic sexyawesome tension in three minutes than anyone else had in one season! (Including Dean and Cas, and seeing as I'm a die-hard Dean/Cas fangirl that's saying something.) So after a bunch of OT fangirling on fanficrants , I decided to re-watch the episode "Abandon All Hope".
I kept. Repeating. That scene.
It was pretty pathetic, actually.
But it did give me more inspiration for my angel fic. The story was originally going to be about an angel who falls to earth because she wants to experience love, and the angel who is sent to retrieve her. After watching the Meg/Cas sexyawesome my fic went a whole different direction.
No, it isn't gonna be angel/demon fic. Although I will try my hand at that, eventually. (Once I get over fangirling Aziraphale/Crowley long enough to write my own angel/demon sexyawesome.)
Anyway, I wrote a short stream-of-thought type thing from my female character's perspective, which I posted on the_write_away for this week's word sprint, and then wrote my first chapter based on that. It's finished now, and I'm about four pages along in the second chapter, and I'm ridiculously excited about it. ^^
Which just goes to show you -- Supernatural can make anything better. Even writer's block.
