I do not remember when I last updated...bad Kathryn.
Things in my world are mediocre. Mom is doing well considering what Dad has put her through with the divorce. Dad is weird and trying to live a more free life in a sense yet Uncle Jim is oppressive. My parents still talk on the phone sometimes so their relationship is not completely trashed. She still gives him advice and i think he still vents to her. I don't know, but Dad seems a bit childish. I still vehemently disagree with Dad's reasons or lack of reasons for the separation. Marriage is not a picknik, my friends. It is a sacrament that includes Suffering. The sacrament of the Eucharist involves much more suffering unto death. The fact that Dad said nothing of remembrance to that statement I emphasized to him disappoints me...
Anyways, I do not want to just rant to you guys about depressing things.
Summer classes here are going well; best semester academically so far =P. I can relax and appreciate what I am learning. I am staying at my the house my cousin is renting in as well. I have made mostly homemade pasta sauce and I have the means to make pure homemade pasta sauce in the near future. I am very excited! Cooking and baking have been wonderful. Cleaning is my stress reliever and boredom tactic. My friend, Chris, and I have been mostly chilling at his house playing Plants vs Zombies and doing homework. Mass everyday is GREAT! Other than that a few of my friends need prayers. One is in trouble with the law do to the intervention of his girlfriend's overprotective mother. One is extremely depressed and anti-depressants are not taking affect. One's grandfather just died. And my family always needs prayers.
I have slowly been gaining my creative spark back. Very slowly; it has been gone for over a year.
Charity is probably one of the hardest virtues when the world sacrifices values for relativism and what is acceptable vs what is right.
Blah blah blah that is it for now. Must read for a 3 hour long class tonight. I hope you are all doing better than I.
Love and God Bless,
Kat
P.S: And I said to the birds and the bees, "No inter-special breeding please! That would be a terrible combination in an Alfred Hitchcock film..."
