new car and computer

So the new car is working great, except i have no jack or driver's manual...which i was supposed to get last tuesday; so i'll give them a call. the car is running fine, still getting used to the sound of the different engine though

use of too much RAM
long start up time
doesnt seem very user-friendly...at least on the comps that i used it on, it wasnt very helpful.
...theres some more, i just cant think of them right now.

but the system just seems way too fancy with things that i'll never really use...that will also apply to macs, but i feel i'll use more of those applications on the laptops than i would on a Vista laptop

If you're buying a new computer, you'll never compare boot times because you'll only be running one OS on the computer. Like dingboon said it's not too much of a memory hog and it's been very stable for me alot more than the original XP was when it first came out.
