car troubles and Saturday Night

Jun 17, 2007 23:09

so the important topic first.  every year theres been a dinner at the beginning of summer with a bunch of friends, it happened after 1st year to keep in touch.  2nd year everyone wanted to do it again, and 3rd year.  but 4th year? hasnt happened yet and i found out today that luckily: i got saturday off.

if you were free on saturday night and wanted to go to dinner would and could you? what time sat. night? i was thinking the usual 7-8 oclock-ish.  the place, again the usual Olive Garden (unless you have another place in mind).  the purpose...tradition and its just fun.
the quick overview:
what: dinner with friends
when: sat. night--6/23/07 (between 7 or 8--lemme know which one works better)
why: its fun...also a tradition
where: Olive Garden or any other place you might like
how: ..we get there and eat...

if you are interested leave me a comment or call my cell phone please.  and agian we dont have to do that time or place, if you have another place in mind do share.  there is all week to decide.

now to the car troubles.

it starts fine, then when i go into reverse a loud rumbling noise starts up. then it turns into a screeching. and lastly vibrations in the car.  it seems like its originating from the passenger side of the hood...then i let go of the brake and the noise stops.  i worry because this could a transmission problem and does not only blow but cost ALOT to fix or even think about.  but i've let it go for a couple months now since the car still runs fine.

the other problem isn't as serious or worrysome its just annoying as hell.  its the damn blinker.  it started about a week ago.  i flip it up to signal right.  it blinks a few times ...then stops.  i look at the lever and its still in the up position.  so i turn the blinker off and up again and it works fine ...for another few blinks.  turn it off and on again...nothing, no light or blinking noise.  off and on again...nothing.  and yet again...working fine. and of course i missed my opening to the lane.
its probably a simple fix and i need to get the car inspected for safety and emission anyways, but it sure is nothing short of annoying to turn the blinker on and off again multiple times just to signal right from a stop sign.  or when switching lanes.
