Right. So I applied for an audition with an acting school in London: The London Acadamy of Music and Dramatic Arts. LAMDA for short. About two weeks later they email me saying they'll email me. A few days after that they email me again saying they'll email me with an appointment two to three weeks in advance of the audition. That was about a week ago. Tonight as I was doing my final facebook/lj/email check before bed I see that there is an email from LAMDA again. Holding my breath without realizing it, I open said email and find that I have been given an appointment please download this friendly attatchment and click this friendly link for details.

This, it seems, was when my internet decided what it really needed was a vacation, somewhere really nice, where the breeze is fresh and work can't get ahold of you. Once I understood this, I proceeded to flail as quietly as I could. I then tried on my brother's computer, just in case the desktop was being especially stupid again. Which was not the case.
By this point I had gone back and forth across the house a few times, and jumped up and down in place in FRUSTRATION. Which, of course, woke my parents. Down they came, all concerned and curious, and I explained to them in a slightly stricken an hyperventilatey tone what was happening. At which point my brother points out that the internet has finished recycling and it should work now. The four of us gathered in front of the desktop and I loaded my email again, and clicked the link.

After flipping out and trying to find a way to sidle up to the page all calm and subtle like for at least half an hour, it has been decided that it is now time for me to take a chill pill or two and go to bed. So that is what I am about to do. I'll keep you all updated when there is new information.
