I'm officially a policy wonk.
I got REALLY excited when I found out that Rogers is streaming City Council meetings live on the web.
Wow. I am ever sad.
A year ago I couldn't have cared less about municipal politics... now I'm getting all wet about variances and deputations. And I spent yesterday evening discussing garbage bins.
Damn you, toronto public space committee!
The good news - we won two of our variance battles this month at community council, AND there aren't going to be any video screens in subway cars AND viacom has finally put street names up on the bus shelters (only took 'em 5 years.) AND we've taken down something like 20 chain link fences this summer.
