Hulk Hogans son Nick Hogan is rumored to be running last years MOPAR Viper in Drifting Events this year.
Sources place him at several test sessions running the car in preparation of this years events. We are looking for confirmation on this and will post as soon as we have more info. Nick was seen on several TV shows in the past weeks sporting a MOPAR jacket while with his father Hulk Hogan. If this rumor is true, Nick will be one of the youngest drifters out there this season. We arent sure how much support he is getting from MOPAR but with the Celeb status from being a reality TV star combined with his dad being Hulk Hogan who knows what could happen.

Want to know why its bullshit? Because first off, it takes an incredible amount of time to perfect drifting. I did it briefly in some competitions but it was very hard and costly (think wear and tear on tires), the other thing that makes me mad about this whole deal is the fact that dodge enters a viper in a drifting competition?!?!?! Why dont you just call in "who can powerslide the best" competition, not "drifting". The whole point of drifting is get the around corners quickly without losing speed. A technique invented by rally drivers and perfected by the Japanese in "Touge" racing. It seems like the American version of drifting is just getting a car with a hell of a lot of horsepower and when you come up to a corner just push in the gas full throttle so you will destablize the rear in a rear wheel drive car thus making the back go out. In real drifting its all about pedal control and getting the tires to spin enough to get the back end to lead you around a corner. But what do I know? My father isnt Hulk hogan and I dont have millions of dollars.
