I forgot how much I like having Forciniti as a teacher.
My Organic II teacher isn't bad at all. He's actually quite funny. Someone asked if we were going to learn how to make perfumes. He went into this spout about how you can make perfumes by taking banana stuff and apple stuff and putting them together. And then said that you can make perfume out of benzene or toluene if you wanted to, the only problem being that benzene is carcinogenic (and toluene smells bad).
I'm in Dr. Book's class again. That should be a whole lot of not fun.
I have Dr. Wang (pronounced Wong) for Molecular ChemEng. He's a little boring, and slightly funny. The book for that class is HUGE. Mitch decided that it was two Bible's worth. Not anything like Perry's Handbook, of course. That's the same thickness as all of the religious literature ever written, all put together. (seriously, some people actually use it as a stool to reach the top shelf).
Organic lab should be interesting. There are only 5 people in the section (the other section has like 19 or something). And I, of course, am the only girl. It doesn't seem like it's going to be that hard though. Especially since I'm already familiar with most of the stuff we'll be doing.
Not much else. First day of classes are all done. Now I'm sitting here in Schrenk, all alone, waiting to go to Imo's.
