What a weekend. Definetely the best so far! Here's the rundown of the events:
Friday night - Mr. James Pritting came into town, prompting a trip down to the bars for drinks. At Micawbers, James threw down a $50 (apparently it was payday @ OLN) and bought a round of Guiness. While enjoying our drinks we noticed two chicks dancing with each other. As they moved around we recognized one of the girls dancing as none-other than
elizabella. Apparently her and her girlfriends were in Ithaca for a weekend of fun. After Micawbers we headed back to the apartment to play "KINGS". Whoa, we polished off the entire fridges of alcohol.
We woke up around 1pm in the afternoon and hungout and played some video games. Relaxed and recovered. We hit up the old driving range in the afternoon then went to dinner at viva where I enjoyed a Blue Hippo! We took it easy at the bars because of Sunday's early morning.
Sunday feature us up at 7:30am to get to the golf course by 8ish. We played 9 holes at the Newman Municipal Course in Ithaca. The match feature James vs. Jared, the loser voted "15-05's worst golfer". Tied after 8 holes James fell apart on the ninth dropping two strokes and losing 52-50. Meanwhile I shot a 39, including two chip ins, but that's secondary. After that, we headed to Syracuse to check out a Skychiefs game. For 8 dollars we got seats just to the left of the away team's (Pawtucket Red Sox) dugout and about 5 rows back. The game was great, we heckled Curt Schilling among others (including for Phillies great Shawn Wooten). Finally it was to Hooters for some WINGS! No really we go there for wings ;-) Anyway, Jared, James and myself attempted quite the feet, 50 wings between the three of us. Unfortunately we finished just shy (43 eaten) so we brought the rest back to Ray-ray.
Overall the weekend was just fantastic. You know that feeling after something great has happend? The somewhat exhausted feeling as you reflect on it. It's just a great feeling. Now it's Monday and I'm down in the newsroom for WICB doing News/Sports. I'll probably be doing both morning and afternoon as apparently Cat Sica just called in sick, what up cash!
Oh yeah, RUSH LIMBAUGH and BILL O'REILLY will now host your mid-day/afternoons on WHCU News Radio 870-AM!!
That's it for now, this is Nathan Lindberg, signing off for now...
