Long time, no post.....
So first off, my thoughts on Watchmen. It was a movie. of course it will never be as brilliant as the comic book, and in my opinion, anyone who seriously expected it to be is a moron. So quit bitching about how shallow and terrible an attempt it was, all y'all elitist whiners. That said, I did not agree with all the slo-mo action scenes (Watchmen is a goddamn fast-action superhero comic, not the fucking matrix), and it has the most retarded sex seen I have ever seen outside of porn. Enjoyed the hell out of the rest of it.
Life is pretty damn good. Holding my own in the economic recession. After all, I still have a job, and I was used to being broke years ago. honestly, not seeing much of a difference.
Got a couple of D&D games going, though I'm DM'ing them. Man, I really wanna play! Warrior/Priest for the win. It's happening. Soon as I can convince one of my players to run a game of his own. But, probably ought to go back to writing more material after this here post.
What else....not much. Gonna Escape the state for a bit in April and go visit Alex's mom and new baby brother. And maybe his dad. Might come home with a van of all things, which would be pretty damn sweet. After a 20+ hour drive. Who knows what we'll actually do.
Also, I have fish. One of them is probably gonna die. Sad. But I also have a frog named Pickles, who is, i think, mildly retarded, and has also gotten to be a fat little fucker. I Love Pickles.
