you know who you look like?
in the past 2 weeks, i've been told by 2 different gay men whom i've never met before, that i look like both lily allen *and* amy winehouse.
more alarmingly, in the past week i've had 2 people ask i identified of a writer of colour. yes, really.
i can't even say that i haven't heard any of this before.
in other news, my brother is the best. after a [long] momentary panic that splinterjete and youreneverhome were around for, this (all by text):
me [mass txting]: i'm back in town now
him: your ruining my life
him [again]: wrng person
my brother, is *so* much like me. we hardly ever see one another but are soo similar. of course, i think he's the funniest.
also, that's what happens when you date a girl with both parts of your sisters' double name.
ALSO, if SJ and/or YNH would like the *hilarious* update-- as if!-- the/my mysterious dead "Aunt Helen" turns out to be the lesbian lover/life partner of a great step-aunt i didn't know i had, because apparently, as the story goes, when i was a child the family was not in touch with said relative due to no one accepting her lesbianism.
