What do assumptions do to you again?
The next time I see someone translate gyakujuuji as SATANIC inverted cross in a Catholic context, I will slap them. Obviously the Pope himself hangs the symbol of the anti-Christ behind him! Hurr durrr.
Nevermind that the inverted cross might not have had Satanic connotations in the 1500s. (History majors feel free to correct me.)
