i loved this fic so much i don't even know where to begin. the flashbacks to their childhood were so freaking adorable. little jinyoung standing up for jaebum busting out terms like "innocent until proven guilty." it's so him!!!! i can so see it!!!

and the way you described their relationship, so nurturing and caring, like it's them against the world. this one line summed it up so perfectly

“Because I’m on your side, no matter what,” he says in the end. “Even if no one else believes in you. Even if you don’t believe in yourself.”

like my heart freaking broke it was so beautiful

and i loved the back story behind how jinyoung became a prosecutor, how he hated himself for what he'd thought he'd done, so tragic and wonderfully executed

also this part

“I’m home,” he announces.

Jinyoung scarcely leaves him enough time to put his bags on the floor before he leaps into Jaebum’s arms and kisses him, open-mouthed and needy, until they’re both panting into each other’s mouths. When he finally pulls back, he looks straight into Jaebum’s eyes and smiles.

“We’re home.”

oh boy i finally get to reply to this... well first off i want to really express how relieved i am you enjoyed this fic! i wasn't feeling too sure of it the whole time, and i'm still not sure it turned out how i wanted-- i had a lot of grandiose plans for this universe that i had to scale down for the sake of actually finishing it, and i definitely have a lot more ideas for it that i hope i can share at some point!

i'm one of those suckers who gets rly emotional when my otp exchanges i love yous for the first time so i definitely had to put it in this, i'm glad you liked that part heh! and all the other parts too ^__^ i'm just super happy you liked it, this is the first time i've written for an exchange and it was a really fun experience~ thank you so much for this comment!
